So SOS Spese once a week, goes to the fruit and vegetable market of Verona to pick up what is being thrown out and distributes it among around 70 families in need. Every Friday a van with volunteers goes to the market and returns with what they got. It starts early in the morning and around 10:30 am it arrives at the Paratodos shed where there is always a line of people waiting to receive their weekly share of food, good food. The volunteers arrange the fruits and vegetables and help to distribute them. People from all nationalities, gender and age come and even the volunteers pick up their food.
Imagine if we could make an SOS Spese in every city in Europe and in the world? Wouldn’t it be a wonderful way to help ourselves and to help Mother Earth?
