Anja’s interest in ancient wisdom and alternative healing modalities began with acupuncture and the concept of the relationship of body, mind and soul in traditional Chinese medicine. This ignited a passion within her to live in alignment with her natural gifts. Further exploration let her travel the world and experience ancient wisdom traditions at origin places and from origin elders – so as European, Andean/Peruvian, Greenlandic/Inuit, Russian or Japanese/Shinto, meeting Elders and wisdom keepers in Gatherings and in ceremony.
Following an inner call and visions she is bringing back sacred ceremony to European indigenous Sacred Places and Traditions – and wisdom from there back to her world. For quite some years she walked her shamanic path together with her mentor Angaangaq Angakkorsuaq, IceWisdom and supported him as personal assistant. He gave her the spiritual name Assagiarsuk. This is "the one with many hands that can touch very deeply.” The many arms are a great strength for her - like the arms of the octopus, which can bring a lot to the surface at once. In her private practice, Anja’s goal is that everyone finds the place, where they can best develop their potential. When she is not working with clients or teaching children, you will find her traveling the world, journeying to sacred places or being with friends and family and listen deeply to the nature, elders and the divine mother. |
As Pillar in the Green Tent Circle she will bring forward the concept of ‘Affidamento’, originated as Italian term in the beginning of feminism, this way started in Italy. In German we would translate it into ‘sich anvertrauen/Patenschaft’, a concept of reliance and foster care/entrustment – for men and women, developing peace within. “Never close the door again" to the shamanic world – Angaangaq told her one day - this call she is living. In ceremonies and walking her path with practical feet. As Ambassador of Shamans Directory, she extends the same invitation to you, bridging between the allies and the generations.
