Ann Smith is a circle evangelist with forty years of experience working globally and locally as the Director of Women’s Ministries of the National Episcopal Church and Anglican Communion, Global Education Associations, consultant to the United Nations, Co-Convener of Millionth Circle, Gather the Women Regional Coordinator and attendance at 53 international events. She, with thousands of others, co-created and facilitated women’s leadership programs, training of facilitators, events, workshops, and publications.
Her dream is to inspire and engage people of all ages to listen and learn from Mother Earth and to act Her dream is to inspire and engage people of all ages to listen and learn from Mother Earth and to act on Her behalf. Her love and deep connections to nature came from growing up on two farms where she could play outdoors in the woods, ponds and pastures. Her horse Lucky was her baby sitter.
She is co-author of Stories from the Circle, Women Prints, Women’s Uncommon Prayer and Women’s Round Calendar. She with Angela Weber from Brazil helped plan and carried out the highly successful Anglican Encounter: Churches in Solidarity with Women, 1992, in Salvador Brazil.
